Let's begin.

Open new image 500x500, flood fill with white

Take your text tool, set to code 128, size 150, stroke width 1, foreground white, background black and type in six random letters until you get a pattern you like.
Using the nodes pull it out to a decent size, see my finished tag for reference. Center in canvas and then convert to raster layer.

Duplicate your barcode layer 3 times. Activate the original (bottom) barcode layer. Add effects-dsb flux- radial transmission with the following settings:
screenshot 1

Repeat this with rotation set to -15 and set the opacity to about 70.

On the middle layer add effects-dsb flux-blast with the following settings:
screenshot 2

Repeat the blast effect three times, changing the direction to right, upwards and downwards. Resize the layer by 90% bicubic.

On the top layer add a drop shadow with the following settings:
screenshot 3

Now copy/paste your tube as a new layer and resize if neccessary. Give it the same drop shadow as before.

I cropped and resized at this point before I went on.

Add your copyright and watermark so you both get credit.

Now to add your name, take your text tool again with a font of your choice, I used PizzaDude GeekaByte, foreground/background set to black, type your name and rotate by 15 degrees to the right.

Position where wanted and convert to raster layer. Add effects-eyecandy4000-Gradient Glow with the following settings:
screenshot 5

Add the same dropshadow as before.

Save as .jpg and you're done.
